The Rocky Mountain HPNA would like to announce our newest executive board member. Tonya Hunt MSN, BSN, CHPN, has been granted the treasurer position for the Rocky Mountain HPNA Chapter. We are very excited to have Tonya help lead this Chapter into the coming years. Please see below for Tonya's professional bio.

"Tonya graduated with her BSN in 2004 and MSN- Education in 2014. Her nursing background includes Med-Surg, Women’s and Children’s Health, Case Management, Home Health, and Hospice and Palliative Care. Tonya has been Affiliate Faculty at MSU-Denver since January 2015. She is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and recently became a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Tonya has worked in many areas of nursing, but Hospice and Palliative Care is her true heart’s passion. She is currently working as a Clinical Educator for a Home Health and Hospice Company. One of her favorite quotes is by Ralph Waldo Emerson- “to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” Tonya looks forward to helping serve on the Rocky Mountain HPNA Executive Board."
