Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Grand Junction, CO

Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. You will provide comprehensive patient care, assess health conditions, develop treatment plans, and execute medical interventions. This position also requires health education, counseling, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
• Conduct ongoing health data collection and assessment to evaluate patient health status.
• Provide health education, counseling, and restorative therapies.
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further care as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, documenting all actions per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Support and promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.
• Float to other departments or be placed on-call as business needs require.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable).
• Proven ability to perform the essential duties and collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant certifications specific to your unit or service.
